About The Opportunity

 

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for performing efficient and accurate shipping and receiving, scheduling coordination, and inventory control in the warehouse

 

Critical outcomes for this role include:

 

1. Performing efficient and accurate shipping and receiving schedule coordination and inventory control for the Nature’s Path warehouse by:

- Completing daily Shipping/Receiving paperwork including but not limited to internal company transfers and co-packer transfers.

- Checking Receiving calendar and compile proper paperwork (PO coversheets, COAs) for the day’s incoming loads.

- Scheduling all inbound and outbound loads and input information into the Warehouse schedule.

- Assisting in all aspects of inventory control including cycle counts, inventory adjustment forms, and running daily reports on inventory issues.

- Communicating to Production Supervisors and NP HQ Supply Chain Team important information regarding raw materials and packaging needed for scheduled production runs.

- Tracking off-site warehouse inventory.

- Maintaining inventory of pallets by ordering & entering adjustments into the PECO pallet inventory system.

- Communicating daily trailer needs to NP contract carrier.

- Accurately tracking and recording of production byproduct.

- Check staging records for FEFO overrides and give to WH supervisor.

- Communicate with the receivers on late arriving loads and contact appropriate dispatchers.

- Interfacing with delivery drivers and communicating where to dock.

- Gathering raw material to be disposed of.

- Maintaining warehouse in a neat, clean, and sanitary condition at all times.

- Writing daily schedule for receiving

- Compile and send Expiration Report to buyers.

 

2. Other essential tasks:

- General office duties which include but are not limited to filing, scanning, printing, collating and use of MS Office.

- Coordinate with front desk to deliver product to the employee store

- Period end inventory count

- Create maintenance requests

- Communicate to the crew any team meetings or other scheduled events.

- Coordinate donation pick up.

 

Success in this role will require:

Education

- High school diploma required.

 

Experience

- Advanced skills in Excel, and experience with Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

- Experience driving sit-down and stand-up forklifts desirable.

- Good math and communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Must be able to type at least 50 words per minute.

- Experience using a database system strongly preferred.

- Inventory control experience strongly preferred.

- Must be highly organized and adept at multitasking
