Experiential Events Intern - 6 Month Contract

About The Opportunity

The Experiential Events Intern will be responsible for helping the Communications Team tell the Nature’s Path story through sampling and event activations. General duties include administering targeted donation and gifting programs, event planning, logistics coordination, execution and brand ambassadorship as well as supporting general administrative support.

 

*Please note this is a 6 month contract*

 

Critical outcomes for this role include:

Assisting the Experiential Team to build the Nature’s Path brand by:

  • Supporting and executing the Nature’s Path targeted donation and gifting programs.
  • Supporting event materials and logistics from ordering product samples, attire, communicating event briefs, to administering graphics, inventory, and shipping requests.
  • Vetting donation requests and events according to the Corporate Communications’ objectives and goals.
  • Coordinating, packing, unpacking and cleaning event materials
  • Executing inventory control at Richmond HQ and Blaine warehouses.
  • Reviewing and editing marketing materials as necessary, including brand ambassador briefings & presentations, sells sheets, fast facts and experiential related digital content.
  • Acting as a Nature’s Path brand ambassador at events as needed.
  • Supporting the experiences team with event activations.
  • Participating and adding creative input to department brainstorms.
  • Completing other duties as assigned by the events team.

 

Success in this role will require:

Education

  • Graduated with a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office an asset

 

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an office environment and experience in related field.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft PC software programs.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude.
  • Personable and friendly disposition.
  • Ability to take initiative and exercise excellent judgment. 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work weeknights and weekends in exchange for days in lieu.
  • Physical ability to perform the job.
  • Food Safe certification an asset.
  • Passion for working in the food industry.
