E-Commerce Analyst (EDI)

About the Opportunity

The EDI Analyst's main objective is to develop, coordinate, implement, manage all EDI-related developments for the company, and manage customer orders via the eCommerce portals, as well as the underlying processes and relationships that support the end-to-end order fulfillment of the various NP customers. 

The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)/eCommerce Analyst role will operate cross-functionally between the business and IT at Nature's Path (NP). The EDI/eCommerce Analyst plays a key part in the technical aspects of EDI setup and management, and the process and parties involved in the customer order fulfillment process.

 

Critical outcomes for this role include:

  • The EDI/eCommerce Analyst aligns to the Customer Service team but plays an intermediary role in supporting and leading the EDI process within the customer ordering to fulfillment processes.
  • Monitor and follow-up on all account customers to ensure orders are shipped and billed on time using shipping reports.
  • Maintain a standard operating procedure document to provide context, process mapping, and an issue and resolution knowledge base.
  • Manage the onboarding of new customers with all required EDI documents from creation, testing, and implementation to production.
  • Review daily alerts to correct errors/ omissions in system related to customer orders.
  • Communicate any issue that will affect customer delivery with Sales and Production and work with stakeholders to resolve potential issues.
  • Manage ecommerce customer portals for product information and product cross reference for EDI document/label creation.

Success in this role will require:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in EDI and understanding of logistics
  • Experience with EDI document creation
  • Experience with retail consumer vendor portals
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented
  • Analytical and logical with the ability for problem-solving
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with IFS ERP considered an asset
  • Experience with retail consumer Vendor portals and eCommerce considered an asset
