About the Opportunity:

The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate and efficient flow of goods from initial receipt through internal IFS inventory and tracking computer system.

Critical Outcomes for this Role Include:

• Accurate data entry (issuing/returning inventory) into computer
• Verifying paperwork from warehouse/factory to ensure 100% accuracy of lot codes
• Resolving discrepancies and ensure proper documentation through all departments including Quality Control
• Organize warehouse for shipments of incoming and outgoing goods
• Follow procedures for products/shipments arriving and proper storage requirements (i.e. temperature controls)
• Maintain daily pre-operation inspections on forklift and advise if any maintenance required 
• Assist with organization of Warehouse, including coordination of shipments, and any duties as required

Success in this Role Will Require:

Education

• Valid forklift (counterbalance) certification
• Read, write, and understand English & Spanish an asset

Experience

• 2 years warehouse experience
• Numeric skills (for inventory control) 
• Some computer skills for accurate data entry and shipping labels 
• Knowledge of WHMIS
